Full Job Description Job Title:
Human Resources & Accounting Coordinator Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Human Resources & Accounting Coordinator to support the daily operations of our growing company. This position combines human resources, payroll, accounting, and administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse role and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting employees, managing financial transactions, and ensuring efficient office operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Human Resources Process payroll accurately and on schedule. Coordinate all new employee onboarding activities, including hiring paperwork, and orientation. Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Maintain employee personnel files and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Assist employees with payroll and benefits-related questions. Accounts Payable Review, code, and process vendor invoices. Prepare and issue payments to vendors in a timely manner. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain organized accounts payable records. Accounts Receivable Generate and distribute customer invoices. Receive and record customer payments. Prepare and deposit checks accurately and promptly. Monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances. Contact customers regarding past-due invoices and follow up on outstanding payments in a professional manner. Work with customers to resolve billing issues and payment discrepancies. Administrative Responsibilities (as needed redundancy) Maintain organized financial and employee records. Assist with monthly reporting and account reconciliations. Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide general administrative support. Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors. Assist management with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, human resources, or office administration. Experience with payroll processing and accounting software (QuickBooks, ADP) preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills Knowledge of employment regulations. Experience with benefits administration. Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience. Strong customer service and collections skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Occasionally lift and move office materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
