Job Summary:
The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes. This role provides administrative support to the human resource functions as needed, including recruitment, record-keeping, HRIS and benefits.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. Manage the entire recruitment process including posting positions, screening candidates, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; sends offer letters and onboards in the HRIS system. Administrates uniform, RFID, name tags and other company properties. Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Process unemployment claims. Assists with new-employee background checks. Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action. Assists with processing of terminations. Assists with the preparation of the performance review process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process. Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. Prepare Employee of the Month and Anniversary cards. Assist with the monthly employee newsletter. Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions as assigned. Files documents into appropriate employee files. Assists or prepares correspondence as requested. Prepares new-employee files. Processes mail. Performs other related duties as assigned. Maintain all records of employment perks and benefits. Update necessary sheets and documents.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional proficiency in English required. Korean or Spanish language skills would be beneficial to support communication within a multilingual workforce. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and google suite (sheets, docs and slides).
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. At least two years related experience required.
