required. Previous experience in Recruiting. Non-profit experience a plus. Experience in HRIS, computer software, Word, Excel, Publisher and other related programs.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to interact professionally with others and with a high level of confidentiality Ability to maintain appropriate relationships with people with disabilities and at-risk adolescents utilizing normalization principles Ability to interact effectively with all levels of CAU staff, members' families, and within the community Ability to express oneself, both in writing and verbally, in a comprehensive manner, using the English language Good planning and organization skills Working knowledge of computer software programs including Microsoft Office products Ability to be resourceful and work independently Ability to perform basic mathematical functions Ability to problem-solve Ability to deliver effective presentations Ability to deliver effective training programs Ability to maintain and analyze budgets and interpret and analyze financial reports Demonstrate responsible leadership, mentoring and role-modeling Access to an automobile vehicle, valid driver's license and safe driving record required
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The overall responsibility of the Recruiter is posting jobs, screen resumes, advertise openings, register and attend college & community job fairs, maintain applicant tracking system, This will be done through telephone interaction, personal interaction meetings, maintaining records and resources including typing and data entry, mailing and distribution.
JOB TASKS 1.
Screen resumes received for appropriateness for Agency positions 2. Assist with internal and external recruitment efforts with goals of filling vacancies within a timely manner 3. Attend Career fairs in the community and colleges/universities 4. Maintain various applicant tracking systems 5. Responsible for job postings; internal postings, newspaper and local community advertising 6. Review job requisitions, source candidates and schedule interviews 7. Assist with on-site interviews for recruitment 8. Participate in interviewing candidates as necessary 9. Recommend and implement proactive approaches to enhance recruitment process 10. Maintain high level of confidentiality 11. Actively participates in Agency fund-raising efforts, committees, staff meetings, and in staff supervision 12. Cooperate with any Agency, DDD, and DCP&P investigation and inspection 13. Ensures compliance with all required state and federally mandated background and exclusion checks including but not limited to criminal history background investigation (fingerprinting), Central Registry, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI), drug testing, and motor vehicle checks. 14. Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic. 15.
