This role contributes to the organization's operational effectiveness by promoting accuracy, compliance, and exceptional internal service while supporting employees throughout their employment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
General:
Support the daily operations of both the Finance and Human Resources departments, including accounts payable processing and HR administrative functions. Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely payment in accordance with company policies. Maintain vendor records, assist with payment runs, and support reconciliation and resolution of invoice discrepancies. Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling financial, employee, and company information. Organize, maintain, and update employee, personnel, and financial records across HR and accounting functions while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and record retention standards. Support employee benefits administration, including annual open enrollment, enrollment processing, and related documentation. Assist with month-end accounts payable activities, reporting, audits, and other finance and accounting support tasks. Assist with HR reporting, onboarding documentation, payroll data entry support, and other HR administrative functions. Coordinate and communicate effectively with employees, managers, vendors, and external service providers. Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, accuracy, and efficiency across both HR and Finance functions. Maintain proficiency in HRIS, payroll, and accounting systems used to support daily operations. Assist with audits, reporting, and special projects as assigned by the HR Manager and CFO. Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business operations and departmental objectives. Qualifications ( What you'll need to be successful ): Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required. 4-6+ years of experience in accounts payable, human resources administration, payroll support, or a related dual-function role. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, coding, and payment procedures. Solid understanding of HR administration, including employee recordkeeping, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance support, and payroll. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS, payroll, and accounting/ERP systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and handle confidential information with discretion. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and relevant education and training.
