Human Resources Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. Responsibilities Assist with talent acquisition activities, including job posting, applicant tracking system (ATS) management, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications. Support onboarding and employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated effectively. Maintain accurate HR data entry within HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as House Call Pro (HCP). Support employee relations efforts through conflict management assistance and facilitating communication between staff and management. Aid in performance management processes by collecting data for employee evaluations and assisting with training & development initiatives. Participate in project management tasks related to organizational design, change management, affirmative action planning, and succession planning. Qualifications Proven experience in administrative roles with exposure to human resources functions; prior HR internship or entry-level experience is preferred. Familiarity with human capital management systems such as HCP. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and HR sourcing strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally. Demonstrated ability in data collection, data entry, and managing multiple priorities efficiently using tools like Salesforce or iCIMS. Knowledge of payroll systems such as Kronos or Paylocity will be considered an advantage. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies like Lever, Taleo, or PeopleSoft while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
