Under the direction of the GJ Director, the Program Administrative Assistant works to support all administrative aspects of programs for GJ, as well as work with other partners and collaborations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the GJ mission Minimum of 2 years of experience in Administrative/Clerical support Fluency with both Google Suite and Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and Google Sheets
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, etc. Review Daily Task Trackers of Fellows/Interns for content. Flag/forward any areas that need attention from the GJ Executive Director. Examine work plans and help develop work plans for production staff, interns, work-study, practicum students, and others as needed Keep the calendar up to date (examples: meetings, birthdays, reminders, etc.) Assist with filing of the physical documents in GJ Offices and of digital documents in GJ hard drives Review Summer Fellows' Pre- and Post-summer Assessments, DTTs, and Reflections Schedule Interviews and send out all pertinent agreements Create thank-you letters for radio guests weekly Assist with weekly newsletter Provide administrative programmatic support to the Cultivating Leaders Internship Attend all trainings as required Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner Participate in required meetings, activities, and related projects Assist with GJ special projects Additional tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of GJ Administration.
SALARY & BENEFITS
