G eneral Summary T he HR Assistant / Office Assistant performs administrative and professional support duties related to human resources and office operations. This position assists with employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, leave administration, benefits administration, payroll communication, and general office support. The role works closely with the Human Resource Lead to ensure operational effectiveness, exceptional customer service, and compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal laws. E ssential Job Functions M aintain regular and reliable attendance. A ssist in administering and communicating Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations. S upport management and employees with HR-related questions and concerns while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. R eview employment applications and job orders to help match applicants with job requirements. A ssist with recruiting activities, scheduling interviews, onboarding, and new hire orientation. R eview and evaluate applicant qualifications and eligibility according to company guidelines and licensing requirements. A ssist in conducting employee investigations and documenting workplace concerns or issues. S upport efforts to resolve employee relations and work-related issues in coordination with management and HR leadership. M aintain, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to HR and office processes. E nsure personnel files, including I-9 documentation, are complete, accurate, and compliant. Conduct audits as assigned. P repare offer letters, employment documents, and other HR correspondence as requested. E xplain company compensation and benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and related paperwork. P rocess employee status changes including terminations, resignations, transfers, and payroll-related documentation. C oordinate exit procedures and present separation paperwork to employees. M aintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records with accuracy and timeliness, including data entry, scanning, filing, and document management. P erform general office support duties including answering phones, greeting visitors, ordering office supplies, filing, scheduling, and assisting with office organization. E stablish and maintain positive working relationships with employees, management, vendors, and external agencies. M aintain the highest degree of confidentiality and professional discretion. P rioritize tasks, communicate progress effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. S upport KS Industries, LLC company operations by ensuring all company and customer policies and procedures are followed. P erform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management. - Previous HR experience with construction and/or Oil field knowledge is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish Required
- xperience with HRIS and timekeeping systems strongly preferred.

Hours:
N ormally, a full-time employee will work 40 hours per week, depending on the factors such as weather and schedules. Work schedules and hours may vary depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 5-10's. All labor laws in reference to rest breaks and meal periods will be followed.
