The Workforce Facilities Coordinator helps the Workforce Facilities team to upgrade, maintain, and repair workforce lodging properties. This job description is intended to be a broad description of duties. You will be asked to carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Helping the Facilities team with minor maintenance issues. (E.g. unclog sinks, light heaters, switch fuses at the breaker, some painting)
  • Plowing employee roads, parking lots, and driveways using company plow truck and skid steer
  • Frequently removing snow from walkways, parking spots, and rooftops, which will be physically demanding.
  • Taking employee trash to the dumpster
  • Ensuring all building utilities are working properly and communicating with the right party to fix any issues
  • The job requires sitting, crouching, and standing for extended periods
  • The employee should be able to lift 30lbs frequently and 50 to 60lbs occasionally
  • Solve problems with a "can-do" attitude
  • Find a way to say "yes" to tenant needs. Look for ways to be helpful and courteous
  • Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned or requested including obeying safety policies and procedures and attending safety trainings

Qualifications/Knowledge:

  • Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry knowledge is a plus

Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
This position entails frequent snow removal, including; shoveling, driving a plow truck/skid steer, and occasionally climbing on rooftops (with proper climbing equipment and training.) Frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50-75 pounds. Sitting approximately 60-70% of the time. Occasional walking, reaching, and bending. This position will require individuals to be out in winter conditions.
