The HR Leave Administrator is responsible for overseeing and administering all aspects of leave and accommodation management. In addition, this position also oversees various other HR tasks. As part of the essential functions of this role, the
HR Leave Administrator:
Communicates with employees regarding their need for leave or other reasonable accommodations; ensures that employees are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation and notice required for eligibility for leaves and/or accommodations Handles the administrative process for leaves from the initial notice of the need for leave through an employee's return to work; this includes gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining eligibility, requesting medical documentation as needed, seeking clarification from providers as needed, determining concurrency of leaves, accounting for use of leave, and tracking data concerning leaves Handles the administrative process for reasonable accommodations; this includes but is not limited to gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining eligibility, requesting medical documentation as needed, seeking clarification from providers as needed, and tracking data concerning accommodations Facilitates communication with employees regarding leave and accommodation requests, acting as a liaison between employees and management while ensuring compliance with internal processes Qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business/human resources or related field and two (2) or more years' experience handling leave and accommodation matters OR an associate degree in business/human resources or related field and (5) years' experience handling leave and accommodation matters; ADP systems knowledge and experience preferred; awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential Job type:
Full-time Required Education and Experience:
bachelor's degree in business/human resources or related field and two (2) or more years' experience handling leave and accommodation matters OR an associate degree in business/human resources or related field and (5) or more years' experience handling leave and accommodation matters This position is posted with a salary range. The actual rate of pay offered will be based on a variety of individualized factors, including but not limited to a candidate's skills, relevant experience, educational background, internal equity, and market considerations.
