Full-Time Shift 1 Job Description Performs a variety of complex administrative and secretarial functions in order to provide effective operational support for a Department Head, Administrator, or Director. The incumbent functions under general supervision in an independent and confidential manner. Education And Credentials High school required. Associates degree preferred. Experience 2-3 years experience. Detailed knowledge of the rules and procedures of the department and hospital. General knowledge of the mission and operations of the hospital.. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of internet and intranet functions. Working knowledge of department specific software. Ability to compose, type, proof and file materials including correspondence, memos, reports, charts, Powerpoint slides, statistics, meeting minutes and contracts. The incumbent must demonstrate the ability to perform the following functions:

• Provides administrative, project and executive support to HR Vice Presidents Oversees and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the office and serves as the principal point of administrative contact and liaison with internal and external contacts. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of internet and intranet functions. Working knowledge of department specific software. Ability to compose, type, proof and file materials including correspondence, memos, reports, charts, PowerPoint slides, statistics, meeting minutes and contracts. Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to speak effectively one on one or in a small group of employees or customers. Ability to interpret HR policies and procedures and the collective bargaining agreements governing our unionized employees. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Provides assistance to employees and managers on navigating Tier 0 self-service resources such as Infor GoHR Employee as well as how to access important forms and information on the Human Resources pages on KaleidaScope. Identifies, diagnoses and initiates research necessary to initiate support from HR service center for Tier 1 support to employees in a timely and productive manner Supports in submitting invoices for payment in INFOR, ordering office (not clinic) supplies. Provides bi-weekly timekeeping support Performs other related duties as assigned by authorized personnel or as may be required to meet emergencies. Complies with all quality assurance, customer focus, infection control, safety and all policies and procedures with the department and Kaleida Health. Understands and follows all Kaleida Health Service Excellence Standards of Performance.
