Job Description

Evans Roofing Company, Inc. is a national leader in the commercial roofing industry. We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting efficient recruiting and onboarding processes. This role helps ensure a smooth hiring experience for candidates and new employees while supporting the overall needs of the company.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the recruiting process by posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process. Assist with hiring activities, including preparing offer letters, coordinating pre-employment screenings, and ensuring all required hiring documentation is completed. Review new hire paperwork and facilitate the collection of required onboarding documents. Coordinate onboarding activities and serve as a resource for new employees during their transition into the organization. Track onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding requirements to ensure timely completion. Assist with recruiting and workforce development initiatives, including career fairs, hiring events, school partnerships, and employment branding efforts. Support communication initiatives by assisting with company newsletters, announcements, employee updates, and other organizational communications. Assist with planning and coordinating company events. Provide administrative support for Human Resources projects and special initiatives as assigned. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with candidates, employees, and external partners.
Requirements:
Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software applications. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others. Prior experience in recruiting, recruiting, human resources, communications, or a related field preferred.
