PM Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Security Officer to support operations at a banking institution in Hempstead, NY. This role is ideal for individuals with prior law enforcement experience who are looking to continue their careers in a security-focused environment. The selected candidate will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for clients, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a strong visible security presence within the banking facility Monitor premises through patrols and surveillance systems Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms Enforce site-specific policies and procedures Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports De-escalate conflicts using professionalism and sound judgment Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary

Qualifications:

Prior law enforcement experience required (police, corrections, or similar) Valid NYS Security Guard License (or ability to obtain) Strong communication and report-writing skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations High level of integrity, accountability, and situational awareness Customer service-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

Military experience (honorable discharge) Prior experience in banking or corporate security environments CPR/AED certification preferred
