Human Resources Administrator

Description We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources Administrator to join our team in Hicksville, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and supporting key HR functions within a non-profit organization. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage compliance processes related to the protection of children and youth.
• Handle updates and modifications within HR systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with password resets and provide technical support to users as needed.
• Generate and analyze reports to track training completion and compliance status.
• Conduct background checks and ensure legal forms are properly handled.
• Coordinate benefit functions and ensure accurate documentation.
• Manage legal correspondence related to HR compliance matters.
• Support the team with administrative tasks and maintain organized records.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address compliance-related concerns effectively.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures at all times. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources administration.
• Proficiency in handling legal forms and managing compliance processes.
• Familiarity with conducting background checks and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong knowledge of benefit functions and HR-related legal correspondence.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using HR systems and software for data management.
