Required Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
- Two-year college degree preferred
- Four-year degree a plusPreferred Certifications/Licenses
- PHR certification.

- Strong people and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels, from frontline employees to senior management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate learning and training programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Taleo.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand others, build relationships, motivate and inspire employees, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work in an office environment and accommodate frequent exposure to hot and cold conditions.
- Ability to walk frequently throughout the unit and perform extended periods of standing, sitting, and speaking.
- Willingness to complete required pre-employment screening, including drug screening, criminal background check, and/or airport fingerprinting, as applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Human Resources, Training, or Organizational Development preferred.
- Staffing agency experience preferred, particularly experience with mass hiring.
- Business administrative support experience will be considered.
- Airline industry experience a plus.
- Commercial kitchen experience a plus.
- Experience working in a labor/union environment a plus.
- Experience coordinating new-hire orientation, training, mentoring, assessments, or employee performance/feedback programs.
- Experience working with management and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish is Nice to have.
Position Summary:
- Central point of contact for new hires as they transition into the company.
This position is responsible for all functions related to the new hire in unit-based kitchens(s).
Responsibilities:
- Orientation scheduling, coordination, facilitation and documentation
- Kitchen/Work Area tours
- Introduction to Key staff and Management
Mentor Program:
assignments, documentation and follow-up- Ensure first 2-weeks training assignment
- Coordination of new hire performance review/feedback process
- New Employee assessment program Lead and documentation
- Works with Operations management as a team member
- Other duties as assigned by HRM, SHRM and Unit GM.
- Work schedule will vary to include 25% off shift
