Wed Sep 2 2026 Human Resources is looking for a friendly and reliable student to help support our human resources functions. This position is scheduled for 20 hours per week, with hours to be determined based on student availability.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides customer service and triages customer issues for all walk-ins and phone calls. Assist with the completion of new hire paperwork as needed such as I-9 forms. Provides basic information to customer inquiries based on OCC policies, procedures, and contracts. Assists with the coordination of employee onboarding and orientation. Maintains the I-9 forms; Purges all I-9 forms according to federal laws. Maintains files of HR documents including transcripts and veteran's status. Assists with the coordination of HR events. Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of the position. Treats all matters in Human Resources as confidential.
Job Requirements:
Must be a currently enrolled student in good academic standing (2.0 gpa minimum) Professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor Strong verbal and written communication skills
Additional Information:
Pay Rate:
Starting rate of $16.00 for new Student Workers. Starting rate of $17.00 for returning Student Workers.
Hours of Operations:
Monday-Friday 8:30am
- 4:30pm Student Workers may work up to 20 hours per week while classes are in session.
Additional hours may be worked during college breaks.
