We are seeking a positive, energetic, and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Manager HR & AP, you will play a foundational role in supporting our HR administration, maintaining data integrity, and fostering a compliant, welcoming workplace across multiple business divisions.
Responsibilities:
Assist the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, testing, interviewing, hiring, and conducting onboarding sessions. Assist in keeping job descriptions up-to-date, accurate and compliant with relevant federal, state, and local laws for all positions Assist with employment drug tests and results in personnel files Assist employees to enroll in 401k and other benefits when they become eligible Ensure all employment practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations Assist management on employee benefit programs Assist with employee requests and concerns Respond to external employment verifications requests Ad hoc assignments Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in similar field Bachelor's degree preferred Excellent time management and meticulous attention to detail for managing sensitive files and records Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or applicant tracking software High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee data Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
