Job Description
Description Position Title:
Human Resources Assistant Department:
HR/ Administration Supervisor:
Human Resource Director Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and other human resources activities.
- Attend job fairs and hiring events to recruit new staff, as required.
- Welcomes employment candidates to the organization during the interviewing process.
- Provide a tour of the facility for recruits.
- Provide ad-hoc reports to Management staff.
- Assist with employee relations concerns on an as-needed basis.
- Submit employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data for special requests and projects.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
- Support all internal and external employment inquiries, requests, special projects, etc.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:

- Onboarding
- Employee Relations
- Recruitment and Retention
Special Projects and Events Requirements Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Proven work experience as an HR Administrative Assistant or work in a similar field
- Working knowledge of HR software, such as Paylocity
- Knowledge of labor legislation, laws, and structure
- Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments on a timely basis.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Must be dependable and flexible.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Software Skills
- Exceptional writing skills: punctuation, grammar, and proofreading abilities are a must.
Academic Requirements:
BS degree in Human Resources or relevant field; required.Subordinates:
