Job Description

We are seeking an individual with good customer service, attention to detail and basic math skills to process annual and interim recertifications of tenant information accurately and timely. The successful candidate must relate effectively with residents; provide professional, responsive customer service; demonstrate respect for residents and others in our neighborhoods; be proactive in follow-up and instilling a sense of urgency and desirably for lease compliance; and be innovative and adaptive, in order to operate effectively in a team environment with interruptions and changing priorities.

The Recertification Specialist duties include, but are not limited to: Conduct annual and interim recertifications Monitor and manage failure to recertify process Process gross rent changes Respond to audit findings Prepare and maintain required reporting Provide support and cross-train with team members Provide support to help the team complete required tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
GED or High School Diploma Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Basic math skills Adaptable to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities Analyze information and successfully identify and troubleshoot complications Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution Customer service that supports CPO vision, mission and core values
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in affordable housing compliance and property management Industry-related designations preferred, e.g., HCCP, FHC, CAM, CHAM, SHCM, etc. Selected candidates will be subject to the following background checks: Criminal History Drug Screen CPOMS is an equal opportunity employer.
