Job Description

Under the guidance and direction of the People Services Director, the People Services Generalist is responsible for enhancing department functions by planning, implementing and developing training, onboarding, and employee orientation programs, the administration of employee benefits, payroll administration, and answer employee questions regarding pay, benefits, policies and procedures. Essential Functions Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including but not limited to:
  • talent acquisition,
  • staffing,
  • employment processing,
  • compensation,
  • health and welfare benefits,
  • training and development,
  • records management,
  • safety and health,
  • succession planning,
  • employee relations and retention,
  • AA/EEO compliance.
Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action. Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees. Additional Information Requires a positive, team-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently and use downtime productively. Education:
