This is a full-time, in-person position. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and implement training and onboarding programs for individuals working in the construction trades, tailored to our jobsites', clients' or company's specific needs and requirements. Serve as a bridge between the community and our jobsites, supporting individuals from various backgrounds, including local high school graduates, as they navigate training, onboarding, and initial placement phases of their construction careers. Promote and market the construction industry and site-specific workforce development opportunities within the community. Develop local relationships with workforce agencies, trades organizations, subcontractors, nonprofits, and educational institutions to identify partnership opportunities, bolster workforce development recruitment, and identify meaningful opportunities for the project team to support the community. Work with project and trade contractor teams to understand construction schedule and manpower needs for strategic planning and to identify career opportunities. Provide industry data (local and national) to highlight best practice workforce development models, labor market trends, external funding mechanisms, union requirements, and partnership opportunities. Develop creative and engaging recruiting tactics and training curriculum. Support the project team in planning, coordinating, and executing high-impact community engagement activities for our team, managing both on-site initiatives and off-site events. Support fostering an internal culture of giving back by engaging employees, organizing volunteer events and initiatives, tracking volunteer participation, and ensuring community engagement efforts align with our core values. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Management, Education, or similar field and 2-5 years of relevant experience such as construction, project management, coaching, program implementation, education, and/or recruiting. Skilled at external affairs and public speaking. Ability to connect with community organizations and stakeholders that engage in workforce development training, employment resourcing, education, and/or recruitment. Self-starter who takes initiative, is very people-oriented, and who works efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and under deadlines. Proactive problem solver, highly organized, resourceful, and effective communicator.
