POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Human Resources and Administration Coordinator manages daily HR operations, including benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, and compliance. Assisting with daily office functions, record keeping, mission alignment and prioritizing employee engagement and retainment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prioritizes employee recruitment, hiring, and retention. Administers benefits programs, including enrollment and vendor management. Maintains compliance with federal/local laws related to Equal Employment and Fair Labor. Maintains all personnel files and employee information utilizing agency data-systems solution; ensures all records and documentations are up to date and filed with appropriate governing agencies; prepares personnel reports quarterly, annually, and as needed. Collects and maintains HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, etc. Provides routine report to the Executive Director for Performance and Quality Improvement measures. Manages daily office operations, maintains office equipment, manages vendor relationships, and oversees supply inventory. Works closely with the Finance Manager to ensure timely processing of purchasing and expenditures, benefits coordination, and payroll processing. Maintains in-kind valuation required for organization and grants management purposes and provides timely communication with in-kind donors. Acts as a liaison between management and staff to resolve issues, promote a positive workplace culture, and organize staff activities. Works closely across teams to promote open communication and collaboration. Adheres to agency policies and work rules, including strict adherence to Project Woman confidentiality policies and code of ethics. Assists with monthly emergency evacuation/preparation drills. Attends agency and shelter meetings, trainings, and continuing education activities, as assigned. Maintains effective and cooperative relationships with community partners, participants, other employees, and volunteers. Consistently represents the mission and philosophy of the agency. Performs other duties as needed, requested, or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, preferred, or 1-3 years prior experience in Office Administration and/or Human Resources. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Human Resource databases. Prior experience in a non-profit or social services, preferred. Basic understanding of standard office equipment. Demonstrated competency in clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing. Understanding of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, or Human Trafficking related issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational abilities. Willingness to learn new technology platforms.

COMPENSATION
This position starts at $51,000 and is a full-time (40 hours), exempt position. Benefits include partially paid health insurance for employees, including dental and vision, voluntary life insurance, and voluntary short- and long-term disability Project Woman will assist personnel in applying for any professional licenses, necessary for the position. Employment with Project Woman allows for participation in statewide domestic violence and sexual assault coalition collaborations, caucuses, and taskforces.
