Job Description
Description We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of HR processes and tools, and brings at least two years of relevant HR experience.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and assisting in the development of a positive, collaborative environment. + Conduct audits and reviews of job descriptions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards. + Participate in recruitment activities including screening applicant profiles, scheduling interviews, and assisting with candidate selection. + Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives aimed at boosting team morale and productivity. + Facilitate onboarding procedures, ensuring an efficient and welcoming transition for new hires. + Manage employee records in HRIS platforms, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality of HR data. + Conduct background checks and prepare required documentation for hiring processes. + Assist in the creation and maintenance of HR workflows, supporting process improvements across HR functions. + Provide administrative support for the HR team to ensure timely and effective completion of projects and tasks. + Utilize Microsoft Excel for HR data management and reporting. Requirements- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR-related role.
- Strong knowledge of human resources administration and processes.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and their applications in managing employee records.
- Proven ability to conduct background checks and manage recruitment activities.
- Experience in employee relations and promoting workplace engagement.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Previous experience as an HR Manager or similar leadership role is a plus.
