The HR Intern will directly assist the Rudolph Libbe Group Human Resources team with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, onboarding/orientation, our co-op program, and associate benefits. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills they have acquired in school related to their areas of interest and apply them in a professional setting. This role will be for Spring 2027, but could start as early as December 2026. The HR Intern will learn the practical application of: Steps in the recruiting and hiring process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting phone and in-person interviews, making job offers, and onboarding. Implementation of our co-op program, which includes social events, professional development opportunities, jobsite visits, and education on RLG's services, culture, and core values. Associate benefits management including audit/reconciliation, enrollment, termination, and the customer service aspect of benefits oversight. The importance of employment law and compliance, especially regarding employment eligibility, confidentiality, and proper maintenance of associate files.
Qualifications:
Current or recent enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in Human Resources. Student member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and virtual meeting software. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
