Job Description
HR Assistant Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our growing team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with min 1-2 years of experience looking to grow their career within a large restaurant organization that offers strong opportunities for advancement. The ideal candidate will take ownership of all benefits-related functions and become the team's internal benefits expert and general HR operations. Candidates should be highly organized, dependable, comfortable handling confidential information, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Human Resources & Benefits Administration Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and support Administer employee benefits programs and assist with enrollments Assist with open enrollment processes Assist with leave administration and employee accommodations Support employee onboarding and new hire paperwork Assist with employee relations matters and HR support Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations Coordinate workers' compensation claims and documentation Manage I-9 and E-Verify compliance Possible Other Payroll Responsibilities Assist with weekly multi-location payroll processing Review and verify employee timecards for accuracy Help ensure payroll accuracy and timely processing Assist with PTO tracking and payroll audits Support garnishment processing and payroll-related documentation Assist with tax and payroll document processing Work within payroll systems and HRIS platforms as needed Qualifications 1-2+ yrs of experience preferred Strong interest or experience in benefits administration required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required ADP payroll experience is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage confidential information professionally Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Hospitality or multi-location experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Salary based on experience Benefits package available Growth and advancement opportunities within the organization Schedule Full-time In Office position Pay Based on
