We're looking for an organized, dependable Administrative Assistant to help support payroll, onboarding, attendance tracking, and employee support functions at our facility. In this role, you'll be one of the first people employees turn to when they need help, information, or guidance. What You'll Do You'll help ensure employees are paid accurately, new hires get off to a strong start, and leaders have the information they need to support their teams.
Your work will include:
Supporting payroll and attendance processesAssisting with onboarding and employee administrationMaintaining records and ensuring data accuracyHelping employees navigate policies, procedures, and benefitsPreparing reports and supporting plant leadershipContributing to employee engagement activities and eventsServing as a trusted administrative resource across the facility No two days are exactly the same, and your contribution will have a direct impact on the employee experience throughout the site. Job Description Purpose Responsible for production reporting and payroll functions. Perform administrative duties as relates to the payroll and human resources departments, specifically to hourly team member payroll, leave, and data management. Key Responsibilities Process the facility's bi-weekly time and attendance for hourly team members for payroll Collaboration with plant leadership related to ensuring proper pay for team members Create, review, and maintain spreadsheets, databases, files, and records in compliance with company policies and/or federal and state laws, including verification of employment eligibility Serve as day-to-day contact for team members, customers, and visitors (in person and by phone) providing information involving benefits, policies, procedures and practicesAdminister the bid process to enable team member job placementVacation relief for other clerical staff, where applicablePrepare internal and external reports, correspondence, presentations and other documents using Microsoft softwareMaintain familiarity with labor contract as appropriateRetrieval and distribution of facility mailOrder and maintain stock of office suppliesBook travel and reconcile associated expensesSupport Employee Engagement programs and coordinate on-site and off-site eventsOnboard new Team Members on payroll-related topicsMonitor attendance via call-in tracker and communicate concerns and/or patterns to leadershipFacilitate team member product purchasesModel Company core valuesOther duties as assigned Required Qualifications Two (2) or more years of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the positionHigh school diploma or equivalent Excellent keyboard skills and 10-key by touchAbility to prioritize and work with speed and accuracyProficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to meet deadlines, work under pressure and prioritize competing projects or tasks.
