Job Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. This role will handle requirements such as maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Areas of Accountability:
General HR Duties:
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Assists with new hire orientation paperwork preparation. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations. Facilitates all aspects of the recruitment process including temp employee communications and interview scheduling between staffing agencies and supervisors. Provides exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Assistant Duties:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Performs all periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately with the oversight of the HR Generalist. Provides clerical support to the HR department. Supports scheduling and maintaining the HR calendar (schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, etc.). Performs other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Prior related office experience preferred

Part-time Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
