Job Description
Boise Cascade is seeking an HR Administrative Technician to support our Western Oregon Region Human Resources team in Medford. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities This position provides general administrative support and customer service for the Human Resources department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Provide friendly, professional service to employees and visitors by phone and at the front desk. Prepare, organize, and maintain HR documents and supplies. Complete daily HR office opening and closing procedures. Reconcile department credit card transactions. Enter, review, and process employee data and changes. Support recruiting activities and backup support including applicant screening, interview scheduling, and background checks. Assist with onboarding and provide backup support for New Hire Orientation. Participate in cross-training, development activities, and other assigned projects. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.Experience:
Two (2) years of general office experience is required; HR-related experience is preferred. Candidate must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to operate a multi-line phone system and standard office equipment. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. A successful candidate will be highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities independently, as well as a self-starter with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
