Job Description
The Employment Center Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Manager in delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Will oversee the Employment Center front desk and support year-round and seasonal recruitment efforts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management. Lead and motivate core and seasonal Employment Center staff (up to 5 staff members) to maximize the productivity in a positive work environment. Provides cross training to staff to ensure a balanced distribution of work and flexibility to meet the seasonal employment needs of the company. Maintains Employment Center Lobby and Training Rooms on a year-round basis and oversees badging and drug screening process. Has responsibility for the Employment Center front desk and ensures exceptional customer service to internal/external customers and limiting each applicant's wait time. Reviews and vet applications, administers appropriate screening, manage paperwork and schedule interviews for seasonal and full-time candidates. Coordinates placement activity with the Training Department to ensure proper scheduling of orientations. Ensures staff has necessary supplies, equipment and environment within appropriate budget. Assist in the execution of recruiting events. Maintains daily seasonal data related to recruitment, hiring, recall and placement activities. Other duties as assigned. A High School Diploma or GED required Bilingual strongly preferred 2-3+ years strong customer service experience 1-2+ years of supervisory experience required 1-2+ project coordination experience with the ability to look at the bigger picture and prioritize workload A professional demeanor and excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with all levels of company personnel and outside contacts. The ability to diplomatically resolve potentially disruptive situations is essential A strong track record of successful project management required Strong Computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite as well as HRIS system navigation Strong interpersonal skills with the maturity to quickly establish credibility and respect with a broad range of diverse business partners Conflict resolution and de-escalation training highly desirable.
