The HR Coordinator makes an impact by - The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of human resources duties with a focus on supporting daily HR related tasks, assisting with recruiting efforts, managing purchase orders, and supporting the onboarding and orientation processes. Assist with onboarding process for temporary assignments and direct hires. Perform all steps of the onboarding process, such as drug testing, submitting background checks, and scheduling post offer screenings. Support orientation by overseeing timeclock biometric scanning for new hires, getting new hires set up in HRIS systems, etc. Serve as the back-up for facilitating orientation. Upkeep personnel files and maintain I-9 documents. Support recruiters by scheduling in-person interviews and assist in recruitment sourcing. Order and maintain office supplies for HR department. Oversee and maintain the company uniform program to include placing weekly uniform orders, cancelling uniforms for terminated employees, processing uniform invoice for payment and auditing roster for accuracy. Manage the process purchase orders and invoices for the HR Department. Responsible for the main phone switchboard, operation of mailroom and mail deliveries, printing of badges and ordering of break room beverages/ice cream. Collaborate and create HR communications, postings and packets. Perform all duties in compliance with all corporate and regulatory quality, GLP, and safety regulations. Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations. Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality. Demonstrate the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer. Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles. Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations. Comply with Safe Quality Foods (SQF) food safety and quality standards. Perform all other duties as assigned. You could be a great fit if you have these things - High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an office setting, preferably in HR Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to organize and prioritize complex projects Previous experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG is strongly desired Experience with Microsoft 365 Office, especially Excel, is required Physical Demands - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting where noise levels can be high (PPE required) The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8+ hours The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use. Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment.
