Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrative Assistant to support Human Resources operations within a fast-paced foundry/manufacturing environment. This role is heavily HR-focused, with administrative responsibilities supporting payroll, employee relations, and day-to-day HR functions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both in an office setting and on the plant floor, interacting with employees at all levels. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the HR department Assist with payroll processing and related documentation Schedule and coordinate interviews, meetings, and HR activities Field phone calls and respond to employee inquiries Greet and direct visitors and employees Maintain and organize HR files and records Perform data entry, document preparation, and reporting Conduct internet research as needed for HR initiatives Support HR operations in a unionized manufacturing environment Spend time on the plant floor as needed to support workforce needs Qualifications Previous experience in an HR role strongly preferred Experience in manufacturing and/or union environments required Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage scheduling and coordination tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting Comfortable interacting with employees both in office and on the production floor Experience with Oracle systems is a plus (training available) Ready to make an immediate impact? !
