This position assists with payroll processing, accounts payable and accounts receivable, account reconciliations, data entry, HRIS and database management, employee records administration, retail statistical reporting and analysis, fixed asset and grant accounting support, budgeting, general journal entries, reporting, and general office support. By maintaining accurate financial and personnel records, compiling and verifying financial data, supporting day-to-day operations, and providing excellent customer service, the Finance & HR Assistant helps ensure efficient agency operations and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, grant requirements, and agency policies. Education and Experience Equivalency High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience, OR Associate degree with 1 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor?s degree in business, accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field. Skills and Competencies Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including public speaking. Strong attention to detail Empathetic and patient demeanor, with strong active listening skills. Proficiency in developing individualized service and employment plans with actionable steps. Strong organizational and time-management skills, including timely follow-up and accurate reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and data entry/management systems.
Clearances:
Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain all required background clearances. Goodwill will pay for required background checks, including Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania Criminal History Check, and Department of Human Services?
