Job Summary The Human Resources Associate is a one-year opportunity to gain hands-on Human Resources experience while working in a dynamic and collaborative collegiate athletics environment. Reporting directly to the HR Generalist Associate, this position will provide administrative and project support across a variety of HR functions and initiatives. The role will offer exposure to multiple aspects of the employee lifecycle, HR processes, records management, employee communications, and department-wide programs. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their HR knowledge, gain practical experience, build professional relationships, and learn how Human Resources operates within a complex and high-profile athletics environment. Responsibilities

• Essential Functions Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Athletics Human Resources team. Maintain organized and accurate employee records, employment documentation, contracts, and other confidential HR materials. Assist with HR-related correspondence, communications, and follow-up with employees and department contacts. Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and other employment-related processes as needed. Assist with employment transactions and HR system processes, including select Personnel Action Requests (PARs) and other routine updates. Support department-wide HR programs, events, and initiatives, including communications, participation tracking, and event logistics. Assist with gathering, organizing, and tracking information to support HR projects, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment when handling confidential information, with a high degree of discretion. Capacity to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
