Human Resources Administrator Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Recruitment:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires using the ADP Talent Acquisition module, including preparing offer letters, overseeing completion of new hire forms, coordinating background checks and drug screens, conducting I-9 verifications, benefits orientation, and assisting with recruitment efforts like posting jobs and scheduling interviewsPayroll & Benefits Support:
Liaise between employees and payroll to track attendance, overtime, and leave, while assisting with benefits administration and inquiries.Policy Compliance:
Assist in the preparation of company policies and annual updates to the Employee Handbook to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws.Records Management:
Maintain accurate digital employee records, including hiring, termination, leaves, and promotions, using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Update organizational charts and other internal databases.Data Reporting:
Assist in generating reports on HR metrics, including turnover and retention rates.Employee Support:
Act as the primary contact for staff inquiries regarding benefits, HR policies, employee relations, and administrative tasks.Human Resources Administrator Skills & Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or in a similar role.Education:
High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.Technical Skills:
Proficiency with HRIS software is required and ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred, as well as proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Attention toDetail:
High level of accuracy in data entry and auditing employment documents.Confidentiality:
Strong ethical standards and a high degree of discretion when handling sensitive employee information.Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with staff at all levels.Job Type:
