Job Overview Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Human Resources Assistant, where your energy and organizational skills will drive our people initiatives forward! In this vital role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and a positive employee experience. Your proactive approach will help foster a thriving workplace by assisting with talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise in a fast-paced environment dedicated to growth and excellence. Responsibilities Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms like Oracle HCM or UltiPro. Facilitate employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated seamlessly into the organization. Support performance management processes through data collection, employee evaluations, and maintaining accurate records. Administer employee benefits programs, including FMLA, workers' compensation, and other leave management procedures. Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, OSHA regulations, and HR legal standards by maintaining up-to-date documentation and supporting regulatory audits. Contribute to workforce management initiatives such as succession planning, affirmative action planning, and organization design projects. Handle confidential information with integrity while communicating effectively across departments to promote positive employee relations. Skills Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM. Proven experience in recruiting, onboarding, training & development, and employee evaluation processes. Familiarity with employment law, FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, and HR legal compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills for conflict management, interviewing, and fostering employee engagement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis essential), HRIS platforms, ATS tools, and payroll processing software like UltiPro or SAP SuccessFactors. Project management skills to coordinate multiple HR initiatives effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while demonstrating strategic planning and organizational design capabilities. Pay:
$25.54 - $35.76 per hour
