Job Description

Description:
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the HR department's operations by assisting with various HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and record-keeping. The HR Coordinator acts as a resource for employees, providing information and support related to HR policies, procedures, and processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide support for payroll processing, including data entry, report generation, time sheet adjustments, and act as a backup for Payroll Manager Answer employee questions, address concerns, and provide general HR support Provide information to employees about benefits and pay questions Assist with the onboarding process; process I-9 documents and new hire paperwork, and ensure all necessary documents are processed and entered in the HRIS system Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations Assist employees with the completion of forms, including but not limited to, STD/LTD forms Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HRIS data. Ensure HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Provide general administrative support to the HR department, such as scheduling meetings, managing files, and preparing reports Manage temp requests including liaising with staffing agencies, handling timecards, invoices, requests, and cancellations Proactively discuss process improvements ideas and solutions Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skill Requirements Highschool diploma required, prefer diploma or degree in Human Resources 2+ years related experience Payroll experience preferred Proficiency in HR software and systems Knowledge of HR policies and procedures MS Office (excel, word, Outlook and PowerPoint) Key Competencies Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Attention to detail and accuracy Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize workload Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Consistent in follow-up and follow-through Credible with a high level of personal integrity Loyal and dedicated to the success of colleagues and team members Optimistic toward all activities, able to transmit this optimism to others Adaptive to ICAT's core values
