Orientation & Onboarding Coordinator Profile The Orientation & Onboarding Coordinator for J-Quint, LLC, McDonald's, is responsible for coordinating, executing, and further developing Onboarding programs that ensure employees and leaders have the knowledge and resources needed to perform their roles successfully. This position reports to the HR Manager and partners closely with restaurant managers, supervisors, operations leadership, hiring managers, and employees to identify needs, establish consistent standards, monitor employee onboarding progress and compliance, and ensure hiring and orientation programs are effectively implemented across the organization. This role plays a critical part in integrating new employees into the company culture, improving employee retention, developing employees, and maintaining operational standards. Key Responsibilities Training & Orientation Support Lead new hire orientation programs, ensuring new hires are compliant with McDonald's and J-Quint hiring standards. Prepare, edit, and bind documents and orientation materials. Manage the orientation schedule and track any expenses. Understand McDonald's QSR training systems, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent employee development across restaurants. Ensure employees complete required training and obtain certifications where applicable. Follow up with new hires and resolve onboarding issues Partner with operations leadership on training needs related to new equipment, products, procedures, or processes. Coordinate with leadership to ensure successful integration for new hires and employees transferring between restaurants or departments. Act as a consultant and mentor to new employees using digital platforms and in-person sessions. Use restaurant performance results, operational KPIs, and employee and management feedback to identify training gaps and improve the onboarding and training processes. Human Resources, Compliance & Employee Support Serve as primary training resource for new hires during the onboarding period. Support employee engagement by reinforcing company culture and providing guidance during transitions. Maintain deep knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws. Coordinate with hiring managers on pre-hire activities to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to employee. Provide ad-hoc support to the HR Manager and Operations Team. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a professional setting or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college . Degree , Bachelor's preferred, Associate's degree considered Google Workspace proficiency - Docs (strong proficiency required), Calendar (strong proficiency required), Sheets (beginner-intermediate experience required), Slides (strong proficiency required) Excellent communication skills and ability to present information required. QSR experience highly preferred. HR Experience highly preferred. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment. Ability to work remotely and travel to multiple locations within a 50-60 mi radius, depending on the day. Bilingual communication skills preferred. Experience in training preferred. "No task too big/too small" attitude required.
Pay:
$15.50 - $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 29.0 per weekBenefits:
