Job Description

IT8 USA Corporation, based in Austin, Texas, is part of MiddleGround Capital, a private equity firm headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. Founded in 2004, IT8 began as a mechanical design and engineering office. Today, we deliver Body-in-White, warehouse automation, and industrial automation services across Europe, India, Mexico, Germany, and the United States. We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to support our expansion across the United States starting in 2026. This role is primarily focused on payroll processing and compliance, with additional support across HR operations. They will ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant management of employee compensation and administrative records throughout the employment lifecycle, supporting organizational effectiveness and employee trust through excellence in payroll operations and workforce data integrity. General Job Duties Process biweekly payroll activities through ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy in employee hours, deductions, bonuses, and payroll updates. Support payroll audits, reporting, and resolution of payroll discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and payroll-related data across HRIS systems including BambooHR and ADP Workforce Now. Support onboarding and offboarding activities through BambooHR, including employee setup, document collection, policy acknowledgments, and workflow coordination. Assist with employee communications through BambooHR related to onboarding, HR updates, payroll processes, and internal documentation requests. Coordinate employment authorization verification and maintain compliant Form I-9 documentation. Process employee lifecycle changes such as salary updates, PTO adjustments, promotions, transfers, and benefit-related updates. Support employee benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, changes, and employee questions. Track and maintain payroll-related spreadsheets, reports, and compliance documentation. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and operational teams to support workforce administration and organizational needs. Maintain accurate employee information in internal systems, client portals, and compliance records. Support reporting and administrative tasks related to headcount, payroll data, audits, and HR operations. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for payroll and HR administrative processes. Qualifications Requirements Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Psychology or equivalent. Experience and HR certification can be considered. Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing, HR administration, or employee lifecycle support. Experience processing biweekly payroll and supporting payroll compliance activities. Familiarity with U.S. labor laws, payroll practices, and employment documentation requirements. Experience with HRIS/payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, BambooHR, or similar platforms preferred. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable maintaining spreadsheets, employee records, and payroll-related reporting. Strong communication skills and confidence supporting employees and managers. Experience in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, automotive, or industrial environments is preferred. Valid authorization to work in the United States. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
