United States Suitability/Public Trust Fully remote Administrative Services/Customer Support
  • Overview
  • GovCIO is currently hiring for a Project Coordinator
  • VA Onboarding & Operations (Remote) to support enterprise-wide onboarding, access management, and operational coordination for programs supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
The coordinator manages resource onboarding and offboarding, maintains accurate documentation, oversees communication and reporting, and coordinates across PMO, operations, and technical teams. The coordinator will deliver accurate and timely onboarding support while maintaining compliance with VA SOPs, PIV requirements, and contract standards. This position is fully remote located within the United States.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Lead end‑to‑end onboarding and offboarding workflows for native and non-native resources supporting VA programs.
+ Conduct VA onboarding orientations, develop clear guidance for the required onboarding materials and document process changes within Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs). + Schedule and facilitate recurring weekly and monthly onboarding progress meetings. + Monitor onboarding progress across multiple platforms, while communicating timely updates to managers and leadership. + Ensure accuracy and completeness of onboarding documentation. + Manage and maintain structured data, artifacts, and reporting dashboards supporting onboarding, ensuring information is current, accurate, and audit-ready. + Utilize Excel, Power BI, SharePoint Lists, and other reporting dashboards to track milestones, validate data, and identify risks. + Prepare executive‑level onboarding status reports, presentations, and metrics summaries. + Submit and track VA account access, laptop requests, and related IT service tickets through required portals.
  • Qualifications
  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • + Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in project coordination, operations support, onboarding, vendor management, or commensurate experience.
+ Demonstrated experience managing operational processes and workflows. + Strong communication skills and experience preparing executive-level reports. + High attention to detail and strong documentation skills. + Proven track record of meeting operational deadlines and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Experience with customer support, compliance tracking, and SOP-driven work. + Demonstrated ability to manage time-sensitive processes with a high degree of ownership and accountability. + Strong data management skills, including maintaining accurate records, validating information, and ensuring data integrity across systems. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, basic charts, and data validation.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • + Experience with customer service roles and exceeding costumer expectations. + Experience in workflow standardization or operational quality control. + Experience auditing records or ensuring documentation accuracy.
  • Clearance Required:
  • + Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance

  • USD $60,000.00
  • USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
