GED Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Bilingual Human Resources Assistant to join our team. Please note that this is a fully in-office, 100% in-person position that requires daily on-site presence to support our team and operations. While prior HR experience is ideal, we are open to training the right person if you bring a strong administrative background and a great work ethic. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who is fully bilingual in English and Spanish to step into the human resources field, expand their skillset, and grow with a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
Onboarding Complete onboarding and hiring processing for new hires Ensure required documentation is in Document Manager for the new hire (application, disclosures, background checks) Communicates with applicant to ensure they have information and access to the HRIS Conducts onboarding appointments- collects hire paperwork, verifies I-9 documents, employment verification Completes appropriate state required background check and reference checks Enters new employee in Electronic Training System Schedules new hires for hepatitis B vaccine or TB test, as applicable Administrative Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation in electronic Document Manager. Supports HR Business Partner with unemployment and workers compensation practices Collaborates with quality management team with internal and external audits of employee files
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Must be fluent in Spanish Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency with technology Attention to detail Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion. Basic knowledge of requirements around employment eligibility Occasional travel may be required Human Resources experience preferred
