Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Provides administrative support to the Human Resources team, including recruiting, benefits, training, and employee records.
ONGOING COMPETENCIES

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
): Serves as first point of contact for employees and/or leader related questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits and HR programs. Manages main HR phone line and main HR email groups to respond promptly to calls and inquiries before the end of the business day. Serves as a backup to payroll coordinator by ensuring payroll is completed accurately and timely. Supports benefit coordinator with benefit questions, enrollment opportunities, benefit changes and benefit communications on an ongoing basis. Communicates with benefit vendors as needed. Assists in preparation of new employee orientation and serves as backup facilitator as needed. Maintains personnel files to support audit readiness and compliance with Joint Commission HR standards, CMS Conditions of Participation, and state and federal regulations. Ensure employee records/systems contain all required and current documentation, including licenses, certifications, education, and background screenings. Monitors and tracks renewal dates to support employee and leader compliance. Maintains confidentiality and complies with HIPAA requirements at all times. Supports and lives the mission, vision and values of BMH. Immediately escalate compliance risks or gaps to HR leadership. Occasional project work as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
