Job Description
Human Resources AdministratorAre you an organized, people-focused professional who enjoys being the go-to resource for employees? Our client, a respected non-profit healthcare organization, is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to support their HR Director and play a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR career while making a meaningful impact within a mission-driven organization.What You'll DoAs the HR Administrator, you'll be a vital part of the HR function—supporting employees, maintaining processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations:
Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, HR policies, and the employee handbookSupport onboarding efforts, including new hire orientation and documentationManage and maintain accurate HR records, digital files, and employee dataOversee the I-9 process and assist with employment verificationTrack and manage recruitment activity, including interview status, hires, and background checksCoordinate pre-employment processes such as reference checks and background screeningsAssist employees during open enrollment by guiding them through benefit selectionsSupport offboarding processes, including preparing separation documentationPartner with HR leadership on unemployment documentation (training provided over time)Maintain and update HR systems including Paylocity, E-Verify, and background check platformsContribute to employee engagement initiatives, including anniversary and birthday celebrationsAssist with general administrative and HR-related projects as neededWhat We're Looking ForAssociate's Degree requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills—you'll interact with employees at all levelsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working with HR systems and technologyA proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in and help wherever neededAbility to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentialityWhy You'll Love This RoleOpportunity to grow within HR and expand your skillsetWork closely with an experienced HR DirectorBe part of a mission-driven organization that values employee engagement and cultureMake a direct impact on employee experience and organizational success
