As a 100% dentist-owned dental group with 100+ team members across multiple Central Texas locations, myDental delivers the myDental Experience to thousands of families every week, guided by our CARES values: Compassion, Accountability, Resourcefulness, Engagement, and Strategic thinking. Reporting to the HR Manager and partnering closely with Office Managers, doctors, and our Operations leadership (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisor, CEO), the Recruiting & HR Coordinator runs full-cycle recruiting across all our offices and serves as the operational backbone of HR. This is a role with real ownership: you'll own the candidate funnel end-to-end, build the pipelines we need to keep growing, shape the first 90 days of every new teammate's experience, and bring the data that helps leadership make smarter people decisions. If you measure your work in hires that stick, candidates who rave about the process, and a clean, well-run HR operation — we want to talk.
Key Responsibilities:
Run full-cycle recruiting across all our offices — from intake call with the hiring manager to offer accepted Source proactively across LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, dental and hygiene school networks, and our employee referral program Write compelling job ads, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews with Office Managers, doctors, our Operations team (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisor, CEO), and the HR Manager Build and maintain evergreen talent pipelines for our highest-volume roles so we are never starting from zero Partner with the HR Manager on offer strategy, compensation benchmarking, and closing candidates Own how myDental shows up to candidates online — careers page, Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn — and deliver a candidate experience that earns reviews Represent myDental at job fairs, dental and hygiene school events, and community recruiting touchpoints across Central Texas Run new-hire onboarding end-to-end: offer letters, background checks, drug screens, license verification, I-9/E-Verify, and Day-1 readiness Enroll new hires in required training (HIPAA, OSHA, role-specific), track license and credential expirations, and flag renewals before they lapse Maintain accurate employee records and clean
ATS/HRIS
data; coordinate offboarding logistics and exit interviews Track and report on recruiting funnel metrics — time-to-fill, source-of-hire, offer-acceptance rate, 90-day retention — and bring data to HR check-ins Support the HR Manager on initiatives across employee experience, engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement of our hiring process
Position Requirements:
2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR coordination experience preferred Healthcare, dental, or multi-location workforce experience is a strong plus, not a requirement A high performer — sets a high bar for self and brings the same standard to every candidate Honest — tells the truth in feedback, in interviews, and in tough moments In it for the long haul — looking for a team to build with, not a stepping stone A natural fit for our team — lives the CARES values, not just talks about them A real recruiter's instinct — can read a candidate quickly for energy, work ethic, and culture fit A natural storyteller — can describe myDental, our CARES values, and what makes our team different Strong communicator — clear, warm, and confident on the phone, in writing, and in person Excellent active listening, negotiation, and persuasion skills Comfortable with data — uses metrics to make better decisions and tell better stories to leadership Tech-fluent — confident with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter or Indeed Resume, Microsoft 365, and basic reporting tools Highly organized — can run dozens of open candidates and competing priorities without losing the thread Excellent time management with proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism Confidentiality and discretion — handles sensitive employee and candidate information with the trust it deserves Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices preferred Evidence of practicing a high level of confidentiality Experience with multi-site or multi-location workforce preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Proven work experience as a Dental or Healthcare recruiter (in-house or agency) preferred Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS) Spanish-English bilingual is a plus; reliable transportation and willingness to occasionally visit our offices across
