Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Assistant and become a vital contributor to our organization's success! This energetic role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of HR functions, from talent acquisition and employee onboarding to benefits administration and compliance management. You will play a key part in fostering a positive workplace environment, ensuring smooth HR operations, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance workforce management. Duties Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications. Support new employee orientation programs to ensure seamless onboarding experiences. Help manage employee relations by addressing inquiries, facilitating conflict resolution, and maintaining positive communication channels. Contribute to performance management initiatives by gathering data for employee evaluations and supporting training & development programs. Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation claims, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) requests, and other employee benefits. Maintain accurate HR data entry within HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM; ensure data integrity through meticulous record keeping. Support compliance efforts by assisting with employment law adherence, affirmative action planning, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) requirements, and HR legal compliance documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in HR department functions with familiarity in human capital management and workforce management principles. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance standards, and regulatory requirements such as FMLA and OSHA regulations. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in HR systems like Workday, UltiPro, ADP, Kronos, or similar platforms; experience with Excel data analysis is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels and external partners. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion while maintaining high attention to detail in data collection and entry. Organizational skills with experience in administrative tasks such as contracts management, data entry, and social media management related to HR initiatives. $22.48 - $27.08 per hour
