About the Role The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting human resources operations and workforce management. This position serves as a key administrator for HR programs including benefits, training, employee engagement, payroll coordination, leave and attendance tracking, and employee records. You'll help communicate organizational policies, ensure labor law and regulatory compliance, and provide outstanding internal customer service to our teams and partners. You'll collaborate closely with employees, leadership, and vendors—building professional relationships while maintaining discretion, accuracy, and a service-oriented mindset. What You'll Do As our HR Coordinator, you'll wear many hats and make a real difference every day.
Responsibilities include:
Facilitating New Employee Orientation and supporting a welcoming, smooth onboarding experience Assisting with transfers, status changes, and name changes across HR systems Maintaining accurate employee files and other confidential personnel data Monitoring and updating I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documentation to ensure compliance Auditing licenses, certifications, and OIG requirements Support training and development initiatives Processing benefit premium payments, tracking enrollments and managing life events Generating monthly benefit billing and reconciliation reports Responding to employment verification requests Engaging employees through internal surveys to help monitor and enhance satisfaction Traveling to other sites, as needed, to support HR operations Completing special projects and providing general administrative support to the HR team Maintaining department supplies, ordering business cards, coordinating with vendors on office equipment, and managing daily mail distribution Performing other duties as assigned—because teamwork matters!
