Job Description
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for leading the company's recruiting and hiring efforts while providing administrative support for daily Human Resources operations. This position manages the full recruitment cycle, coordinates onboarding, prepares payroll-related documentation, maintains employee records, and assists with workforce reporting. The HR Coordinator serves as a key resource for employees and management while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all company positions.
- Develop and post job advertisements on employment websites, company career pages, social media, and industry-specific job boards.
- Source qualified candidates through networking, referrals, schools, workforce agencies, military transition programs, and community organizations.
- Review applications and resumes.
- Conduct phone screenings and initial interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with department managers.
- Prepare interview packets and evaluation forms.
- Maintain applicant tracking records and recruiting metrics.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for future staffing needs.
- Coordinate new hire orientation.
- Prepare onboarding packets and employment documents.
- Create and distribute weekly or bi-weekly employee timesheets.
- Collect and review completed timesheets for accuracy and supervisor approval.
- Run employee hours reports and attendance reports.
- Audit timesheets for missing punches, overtime, leave balances, and discrepancies.
- Prepare employment verification letters.
- Process new hire and separation paperwork.
- Coordinate employee appreciation events and recognition programs.
- Assist in updating HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee training initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
- High School Diploma Required
- At least one (1) years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Other Requirements
