Must be available for extended hours and weekends as operational needs require. Position Summary Staff Force is seeking a proactive, energetic, and hands-on On-Site Recruiter / HR Assistant to support workforce operations at a warehouse facility. This position serves as the primary point of contact for employees on-site and is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, attendance management, performance monitoring, and policy enforcement. The ideal candidate is highly visible on the warehouse floor, takes initiative, communicates effectively with employees and management, and works proactively to resolve issues before they impact operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Recruit, interview, and onboard candidates for warehouse and administrative positions. Conduct new hire orientations and ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately. Serve as the on-site HR representative and first point of contact for employees. Conduct regular floor walks throughout the warehouse to monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, and compliance with company policies. Build strong relationships with employees, supervisors, and client management. Monitor attendance, tardiness, absenteeism, and turnover trends. Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to attendance, hiring activity, headcount, and terminations. Issue verbal and written counselings for attendance, performance, safety, and policy violations. Investigate employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues and escalate matters to management as needed. Follow up with employees regarding attendance, performance, disciplinary actions, and corrective action plans. Ensure compliance with safety requirements, PPE policies, and client-specific expectations. Assist with employee terminations, resignations, and exit interviews. Communicate staffing needs, operational concerns, and workforce updates to management. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation. Support employee engagement and retention initiatives. Perform additional recruiting, HR, and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in Recruiting, Human Resources, Staffing, Employee Relations, or Workforce Management required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to address employee issues professionally and effectively. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day walking the warehouse floor and interacting with employees. Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling confidential information. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a staffing agency environment. Experience supporting warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics operations. Knowledge of employee coaching, disciplinary procedures, and attendance management. Experience with onboarding systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
