JOB DUTIES
Process, verify, and maintain employee-related documentation and Human Resources (HR) files, including staffing actions, recruitment records, onboarding documents, training records, performance evaluations, employee classifications, and leave of absence documentation. Prepare HR correspondence, forms, manuals, schedules, and reports for the Human Resources Department, HR leadership, and other district management/staff. Maintain and update HR information systems (HRIS), spreadsheets, and databases by entering, auditing, and verifying employee data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Compile, maintain, and file HR reports, records, and documentation required for federal, state, and local compliance, audits, and reporting. Coordinate and oversee recruitment logistics, including posting positions, tracking applications, scheduling interviews, preparing interview materials, and maintaining recruitment documentation for compliance and record retention. Review employment applications, resumes, and supporting materials, conduct applicant pre-screening, and coordinate candidate interview activities. Prepare and issue employment-related documents, including offer materials, employment contracts, and new hire onboarding packets, and ensure completion and proper filing of required documentation. Administer new employee onboarding processes, including coordinating onboarding schedules, providing technical guidance to access internal systems and required software platforms, and ensuring completion of required onboarding forms and acknowledgements. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR processes, benefits, insurance, claims, and enrollment, and coordinate with vendors or internal departments as needed to resolve inquiries and/or issues. Receive, organize, distribute, and track HR correspondence and confidential communications. Maintain confidentiality of employee personal data and sensitive personnel information in accordance with district policy and applicable regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

processing and administering new employee onboarding, including: preparing onboarding documentation, coordinating onboarding schedules and training sessions, providing technical guidance to access internal systems and required software platforms, and advising employees on policies, benefits, compensation, and services; coordinating recruitment and hiring processes, including: preparing recruitment documentation, tracking applications, reviewing resumes and cover letters, conducting applicant pre-screening, scheduling interviews, and processing background checks and reference verifications; maintaining, updating, auditing, and managing HR records and HR databases, including: personnel files and employee data records, to ensure accuracy and compliance; and preparing HR correspondence, reports, and documentation for internal use and regulatory compliance reporting.
