Job Overview Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Human Resources Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's people strategies and HR operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to engage in a wide range of HR functions, from talent acquisition and employee onboarding to benefits administration and compliance management. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace environment, ensuring smooth HR processes, and contributing to strategic workforce planning. Responsibilities Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like iCIMS, Lever, or Workday, and coordinating interview schedules. Support employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated seamlessly into the organization. Contribute to employee evaluation processes by gathering data, preparing reports, and supporting performance management initiatives. Administer benefits programs, including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation claims, and other employee benefits. Maintain accurate HR data entry and manage personnel records using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM. Assist in compliance activities related to employment law, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and HR legal compliance. Support HR projects related to organization design, succession planning, training & development programs, and change management initiatives. Handle confidential information with integrity while communicating effectively with employees at all levels. Contribute to HR sourcing strategies and workforce management efforts to optimize staffing levels and organizational effectiveness. Experience Proven experience working within an HR department or in human resources support roles. Familiarity with human capital management systems such as Workday, UltiPro, or Paychex is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and regulatory requirements like OSHA standards. Demonstrated ability in data collection, Excel data analysis, and payroll processing tasks. Experience with recruiting tools such as ATS platforms (iCIMS, Taleo) or social media management for talent sourcing purposes. Excellent communication skills combined with organizational abilities for project management and administrative tasks. Prior exposure to benefits administration, employee relations initiatives, conflict management, and personnel administration is advantageous.
