This role ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of personnel actions, supports HR data integrity and reporting, and delivers responsive customer service to stakeholders throughout the hiring lifecycle. The position plays a critical role in enabling efficient, compliant, and high-quality federal hiring operations. This position is onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): HR Processing & Onboarding Review Request for Personnel Action (RPA) packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable policies Coordinate with hiring managers, administrative officers, and HR stakeholders to obtain missing documentation Execute administrative actions to support selectees from Tentative Job Offer (TJO) through Entry on Duty (EOD) Track onboarding progress and ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed on schedule Data Management & Reporting Enter, update, and validate HR data within systems such as DCPDS and related platforms Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure data accuracy and completeness Develop and maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and reports to monitor HR actions and workflow status Support data calls and reporting requirements with accurate and timely information Customer Service & Inquiry Resolution Serve as a primary point of contact for routine inquiries related to vacancy announcements and classification actions Provide clear, accurate, and timely responses to customers and stakeholders Escalate complex or non-routine issues to senior HR Specialists and support resolution Administrative & Document Management Create, maintain, and organize electronic and hard copy HR records in accordance with records management requirements Format and edit reports, briefings, and correspondence Assemble materials for meetings, briefings, and training sessions Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate administrative activities
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supporting federal HR operations, including staffing, onboarding, or HR administrative support Experience working within a federal agency or supporting DoD/OSD HR environments preferred Required Skill and Competencies Knowledge of federal HR processes, including recruitment, staffing, onboarding, and position classification support Familiarity with HR systems such as DCPDS (or equivalent federal HRIS platforms) Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and validate documentation for accuracy and completeness Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for tracking and reporting Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Organizational skills with the ability to maintain structured records and documentation
