Job Description

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to support the recruiting operations team in a fast-paced environment. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating administrative tasks, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to recruiting efforts that keep the business moving forward. The person in this role will help organize recruiting activities, monitor key staffing steps, and provide dependable support across day-to-day talent acquisition functions.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the lifecycle of job postings by creating, updating, reopening, and closing requisitions as staffing needs change.
  • Monitor candidate offer activity and maintain accurate records to help the recruiting team stay aligned on staffing progress.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to identify individuals whose experience and qualifications match open positions.
  • Assist with shipping-related coordination and administrative projects that support recruiting and operational needs.
  • Maintain organized documentation and data within HR and recruiting systems to support reporting and workflow accuracy.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Operations Recruiting Department in support of team goals and deadlines.
  • Handle sensitive staffing information with discretion while ensuring records are complete and properly maintained.
  • Contribute to additional recruiting or HR support tasks as business priorities evolve.
